The Tumbling, Stumbling (420) Weed

April 20th, 2010 · 4 Comments

The DEA, not known for a particularly astute sense of humor, has a small journal to redeem those who celebrate April 20th without knowing the true cost of their experimentation. Yes,  Stumble Weed, aka the cannabis chronicles, takes its place alongside propaganda classics such as the 1930s movie Reefer Madness.

This is ridiculous and so misleading. They make marijuana look like heroin or meth. Weed is almost 100% completly safe, besides the fact that inhaling any type of smoke may hurt the lungs.

It also said “The potentcy of marijuana has risen a lot in the last 10 years as well as the number of emergency room visits.” That statement is completely misleading by implying that pot is dangerous.

Pot has never sent anyone to the hospital or emergency room. It is safe by all means… safer than tobacco and alcohol that are both legal and lead to addiction. Weed can’t cause addiction, dependency or withdrawl symptoms. It kills me how people might actually believe what it says.

I really find it amusing the way people have started propaganda for controlled substance, There are much more important issues than legalizing drugs saying ‘tobacco and alcohol are both legal’. Much more burning issues like poverty, unemployment, global warming, terrorirism, corruption etc. plague our and the global economy without any plausible solutions. If we don’t resolve these now there won’t be anything to legalize.
