Freshman Read

Starting the new year with a snarky post just seems right (no irony here). It is noted that the incoming house leadership is starting the new session with a reading of the redacted Constitution.  I have another suggestion, perhaps more fitting to tenor of the new class, read the bible. Yes, the bible of the documents librarian, the 130th edition of the Statistical Abstract of the United States.  Is there better read to get a true sense of the State of the Union (and don’t forget the section on international statistics).
